Fishing at Bartles Lodge
Bartles Lodge has three wonderful lakes - Victoria, Laura and Lizzie – each approximately an acre in size. They are spring fed with depths ranging from 2 to 8 feet. All are well stocked with both Mirror and Common carp (up to 20lb) tench, bream, perch, rudd and roach. Some baits are available on site as are fridges so residents can bring their own bait if they wish. There is a toilet block situated in the main building.

- Barbless hooks only
- Unhooking mats to be used
- No keep nets (matches only)
- No bait boats
- No night fishing
- Respect fellow anglers

The management reserve the right to alter the fishing prices at their discretion.
There are also many other great fishing opportunities close to Bartles lodge including lakes where you can have a crack at the really big carp. The Norfolk record of 50lb comes from a lake just 2 miles away and can be fished on a day ticket during the week. A little further away the beautiful river Wensum winds its way through the local villages and countryside where there several day ticket stretches which offer great fishing for all the renowned species.
