Bartles Lodge is a beautiful holiday spot in the heart of the Norfolk countryside perfect for fishing, relaxing, and exploring our lovely county.
You’ll find Bartles Lodge in the tiny, sleepy village of Elsing, just a few miles from the busy market town of Dereham. The Lodge provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in our newly converted stables, surrounded by 11 acres of beautiful grounds. From July/August 2008 those with caravans will be able to stay in our newly opening touring park.
Our setting is ideal for the fishing enthusiast as we have three well stocked fishing lakes. It is also the ideal base from which to explore all that Norfolk has to offer – from the Norfolk broads to the north Norfolk coast.
2008 has seen the opening of a third fishing lake (Victoria) along with fully refurbished and modernised accommodation and a new facility for caravans.

Bartles Lodge is run by Chris and Jane Mack who offer their guests a warm welcome. Jane has many years experience of providing high quality farmhouse bed and breakfasts and has been instrumental in the redevelopment and refurbishment of Bartles Lodge over the winter of 2008. Chris oversees the fishing side of the business and has worked hard to ensure that the lakes are well maintained and well stocked. He also offers guests additional fishing trips in his boat on the Norfolk broads.

Over the winter of 2008 all of the accommodation at Bartles Lodge was completely refurbished and now provides guests with better facilities and more comfortable surroundings. We were recently awarded a 4 Star rating by the East of England Tourist Board. What's more we also be opened our brand new fishing lake.
